Today is the opening day of Frankfurter Buchmesse (18 - 22 October 2023).

这是全球规模最大的国际书展，在全球出版业具有重要影响。

This is the world’s largest international book fair which has a significant impact on the global publishing industry.

每年有来自100多个国家的7000多家出版商和书商展出30多万种不同的图书和出版物。

More than 7,000 publishers and booksellers from over 100 countries exhibit 300,000 more different books and publications every year.

作为出版湘军，湖南出版自然也以独具特色的方式带给你惊喜。

As a publisher from Hunan province, Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group (HPI) will surprise you in a unique way.

此次是湖南出版集团首次在法兰克福书展上设立特装展台。梅兰竹菊背景画幅、国风屏风、非遗织锦、湘绣……用极具中国与湖南特色的设计与摆件突出雅致格调。

At Frankfurter Buchmesse, HPI has set up a special booth for the first time. An atmosphere of elegance is created by using artworks with Chinese, especially Hunan characteristics, such as paper scrolls painted with plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum, Chinese folding screens, Tujia brocade (an Intangible Cultural Heritage) and Xiang embroidery, etc.

展台书籍覆盖主题读物、中国传统文化、文学艺术、自然科技、教育出版、儿童读物等多种品类。

There are many kinds of books in the booth ranging from thematic books, traditional Chinese culture, literature and art, natural technology, educational publishing and children's books, etc.
